Amy Hall, CBAP

Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy State University. She received her BS with a double major in CIS and Mathematics. She has worked in IT 25+ years. She started her career as a developer performing many duties of what we now know as Business Analysis activities. She has experience in the telecom, banking, and natural resources/mining sectors. Her current position offers occasional international travel to work with business users in South America. She was a founding member of the Birmingham Chapter of IIBA in 2008 and received her CBAP in 2013. She has served as the chapter secretary and has been a presenter at several chapter meetings on topics such as Use Cases, the Agile panel, and Business Rules.
    
Amy and her husband, Matt, are proud parents of 3. Their son is a Lt in the US Army Reserves currently attending flight school at Ft. Rucker, AL. They have two daughters; one is a senior in college, and the other is a senior in high school. Amy is currently serving her second term as President of the Birmingham IIBA Chapter. She previously served as secretary. Her evenings and most weekends are spent traveling and cheering at her teen's soccer events.

I am a member of the TIA, 
Transport Intermediaries Association and hold 
a CTB, Certified Transportation Broker 
certification. I am also ITIL 3 certified.

I am a graduate of the University of Alabama in 
Huntsville and have a BSBA in 
Managemement Information Systems.  

I started my IT career in Hunstville and relocated to Birmingham in 2000.

LeAnn Brown, CBAP, PMP

I have worked as a Corporate Business Analyst at Alfa for over 5 years. I began my career at Alfa in February of 1998 working in voice telecommunications for 16 years prior to moving to Strategic Systems as a Corporate Business Analyst. I received the certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2003, and a Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) in 2019. 

I am married with 2 adult children and 3 grandsons. I enjoy learning new activities or just how things work in general and I spend a lot of my free time on research.

Ted Gaston, CBAP, PMP

Ted Gaston works as an IT Business Analyst for Southern Company at the Alabama Power Headquarters in downtown Birmingham.  He earned the CBAP certification in 2016 and is also PMP certified.  In addition to the BA role, Ted has worked in numerous job roles over his career including Software Developer, Database Administrator, System Analyst and System Integrator. 

Ted enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and six-year-old son. 

Ted is an active member of the Power Speakers Toastmasters club at Alabama Power and is one step away from achieving the DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) designation.

Mickey Ferreiro, CBAP

Mickey Ferreiro is a Senior Consultant at CTS. He is responsible for performing requirements analysis, project management, and business consulting for several clients in a variety of industries. He has seventeen years of experience in software development project work, including extensive experience in system requirements and business requirements analysis, requirements interviewing, data modeling, process modeling, and requirements documentation. He has been a member of the IIBA since 2007, has held the CBAP certification since 2010, and has served on the board of the IIBA Birmingham Chapter since 2011.
 
Mickey has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Florida International University and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He and his wife have an eleven-year-old son. Outside of work, Mickey enjoys an array of nerdy gaming activities such as video games, board games, table top role-playing games, and Star Wars miniatures.

Pam Haddock, PfMP

Pam Haddock is a Technology Planning Analyst at Southern Company and has formerly held Business Analyst, IT Manager, and other technology postions.She is a longstanding IIBA member and holds a Portfolio Management (PfMP) certification with PMI. Pam started as an Auburn Industrial Egineering co-op, supporting nucler and generation across Atlanta, Birmingham, and Plant Hatch in Vidalia, Georgia. She enjoys strategy and process optimization, traveling to see her daughters in North Carolina, and runs an occasional 5K race.
