Amy Hall, CBAP

Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy State University. She received her BS with a double major in CIS and Mathematics. Graduation has been followed by a 20+ year career in Information Technology.  She started her career as a developer performing many duties of what we now know as Business Analysis activities. She has experience in the telecom, banking, and natural resources/mining sectors. Her current position offers occasional international travel to work with business users in South America. She was an original member of the Birmingham Chapter of IIBA and received her CBAP in 2013. She has served as the chapter secretary and has been a presenter at several chapter meetings on topics such as Use Cases, the Agile panel, and Business Rules.
Amy and her husband, Matt, are proud parents of 2 college and 1 high school student. Amy currently serves as President of the Birmingham IIBA Chapter, has served on the John Carroll Catholic High School Booster Board as the representative for the girls varsity soccer team, and has recently started building teams with Life Leadership, an organization focused on helping others live “The Life You’ve Always Wanted”. Life Leadership offers informational and educational products and services in the areas of financial development, professional development and personal development. Her evenings and most weekends are spent traveling and cheering at her teen's soccer events.

Suzanna Rawlins, CBAP, PMP, CBPP, PMI-ACP

Suzanna Rawlins is a Director of IT Services with CGI and has over 23 years of experience in Information Technology, primarily in the Telecommunications field. She has worked as a Business Analyst for most of her career and as a result has developed diverse expertise in a variety of the methodologies/processes/approaches within the business analysis field. She has been a member of the IIBA since 2008 and is the founder and first president of this Birmingham Chapter. She has served on the committee to revise and review the BABok and was also part of the committee that developed the Competency Model. In addition, she is also certified Project Manager (PMP) and Business Process Professional (CBPP). She has been a speaker for this chapter several times and is thoroughly enjoying serving as the VP of Professional Development.
Suzanna has a BA from Auburn University, completing a double major Political Science/Philosophy, with minors in English, history and business. She earned her MSM in Information Systems from Georgia Tech in 1993. She is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, but has called Birmingham home for the last 20 years. When not at work, you can find her in the library downtown researching and teaching genealogy, and working with fellow Board member Amy Hall in an organization called Life Leadership where they help share informational and educational products that empower people to develop themselves financially, professionally and personally. She and her husband Jody are the parents of a teenage son and 11 fur kids (9 cats and 2 dogs). She enjoys reading, cross stitching and photography and travelling with her husband.

Clay Grisetti


Clay Grisetti is a Software Consultant for the CGI Group. He has been working in the IT Services Industry since 2011 and holds a BA in Software Engineering from Auburn University. As a Consultant, Clay performs following the duties of a Business Analyst on a daily basis: interacting with product owners, eliciting business processes, collaboratively solving business pain points, and working with the development team to create scalable enterprise solutions for his clients.
He enjoys backpacking the South East's many trails, reading high-fantasy novels, and spending time at home as a husband and father of two. Born in Nashville, but raised in Birmingham, Clay is excited to help advance the IT industry, and specifically the business analysis community, in the South through the Birmingham IIBA Chapter.
Certifications include: Microsoft MCSD: Web Applications, ISTQB: Advanced Test Analyst, and ISQI: Requirements Engineering Professional. He is a repeat speaker at Code Camp Atlanta on the topics of: User Experience Primer, the It Service Industry, and Starting a Career in Software.

Ted Gaston, CBAP, PMP

Ted Gaston works as an IT Business Analyst for Southern Company at the Alabama Power Headquarters in downtown Birmingham.  He earned the CBAP certification in 2016 and is also PMP certified.  In addition to the BA role, Ted has worked in numerous job roles over his career including Software Developer, Database Administrator, System Analyst and System Integrator.  Ted enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and six-year-old son.  Ted is an active member of the Power Speakers Toastmasters club at Alabama Power and is one step away from achieving the DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) designation.




Mickey Ferreiro, CBAP


Mickey Ferreiro is a Senior Consultant at CTS. He is responsible for performing requirements analysis, project management, and business consulting for several clients in a variety of industries. He has seventeen years of experience in software development project work, including extensive experience in system requirements and business requirements analysis, requirements interviewing, data modeling, process modeling, and requirements documentation. He has been a member of the IIBA since 2007, has held the CBAP certification since 2010, and has served on the board of the IIBA Birmingham Chapter since 2011.
Mickey has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Florida International University and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He and his wife have an eleven-year-old son. Outside of work, Mickey enjoys an array of nerdy gaming activities such as video games, board games, table top role-playing games, and Star Wars miniatures.
