About the Presenter
As an enterprise leader, Ann has a strong background in aligning business and technology needs and has previously held various IT and Business leadership roles across manufacturing, telecommunications and financial service industries, and now focuses in the utility space.
Ann’s expertise has enabled successful delivery on enterprise-scale efforts such as governance processes, strategic planning, business process reengineering, change management, portfolio management, project demand management and prioritization, portfolio, program, and project execution frameworks, performance monitoring and executive reporting. Additionally, she has industry experience as an Industrial Engineer in both the public and private sector. At Southern Company, Ann current serves as Director, Strategic Planning and Execution, with overall responsibility for facilitating business strategy that leverages technology and the project implementation framework development. She is responsible for strategic planning, strategy development and communications, and serves in a variety of internal consulting roles to lead and coordinate business efforts necessary to drive enterprise-scale outcomes. Ann has attained an MBA/E-Business and holds certifications of PMP(Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), Project Management master’s Certification, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and master’s Certification in Six Sigma (Lean, Green and Black).
