We are excited to announce we have made progress on our plans for our first official IIBA Certification exam prep session.  We have considered several variations of scheduling and course materials and have decided to meet for 4 hrs a week. We are considering 2 x a week for 2 hour sessions; 1 on site and 1 virtual session per week. Each week we will cover one of the knowledge areas (1 chapter).  This will take us 8 weeks.  Attendees will receive the 35 hour education credits required to apply for the exam.  We will meet at least 32 hours and you will have 3 hours of homework to account for the 35 hours.
 
We would like to start the middle of June.  The expected cost to remain less than $350 dollars.  This is an exceptional value compared to comparable training where self-directed and instructor led classes cost $1400 - $2200+.  Our cost includes only cost of materials, no additional fees for members. Registration is open to members and non-members.  Non-members will have a $40 fee above cost of materials.
Our cost includes Watermark Learning study guide, fact card, flash cards, 90 day online exam prep question bank.   It does not include the cost of the BABOK v 3.  The BABOK is available free for members as pdf download. Hard copies can be purchased from IIBA.
 
The next steps are to confirm we have at least 5 individuals. As a group we will confirm schedule. Expect Tues and Thurs after work hours.

I will coordinate coverage for instructors – goal is to have a CBAP certified member lead each session.
