This month Mickey Ferreiro from CGI Group will give a presentation about the difference between "business requirements" and other types of requirements. Why are Business Requirements important? How can you figure out what they are? We will discuss these questions and review several techniques to elicit and document business requirements.
 

Feel free to arrive, eat, and network with us until noon, then we will begin the meeting.

About this month's speaker:

2017-2018

Mickey Ferreiro is a Senior Consultant at CGI. He is responsible for performing requirements analysis, project management, and business consulting for several clients in various industries. He has eighteen years of experience in software development project work, including extensive experience in system requirements and business requirements analysis, requirements interviewing, data modeling, process modeling, and requirements documentation.

 

A member of the IIBA since 2007, Mickey has held the CBAP certification since 2010, and has served on the board of the IIBA Birmingham Chapter since 2011. Mickey has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Florida International University and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He and his wife have an eleven-year-old son. Outside of work, Mickey enjoys an array of nerdy gaming activities such as video games, board games, table top role-playing games, and Star Wars miniatures.
