Getting to Know Terrie Mayes!
 
Terri Mayes is a Senior Project Lead at American Honda Motor Company supporting the IT Business Unit with Strategic Business & Application Planning for 5 North American Divisions, including Canada and Mexico: Enterprise IT Services, Cyber Security, Risk & Architecture, Development & Manufacturing Systems, Data Platform Services, and AHM & Captive Finance. She has a BS degree in Computer Information Systems from Spelman College and an MS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Auburn University. She also has certifications in Business Relationship Management, Culture Engineering, Scaled Agilist SAFe 6, Maxwell Leadership Speaking, Coaching, and Training, and Christian Leadership. Terri is the Community Chair for the Asians in Motion Honda Business Resource Group.
 
With more than 30 years in the information technology industry, Terri has a wide range of experience providing team leadership, strategy, planning, product, portfolio, and project management, process engineering, systems integration and Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge, as well as testing, documenting, and implementing business technology solutions in the Manufacturing, Telecommunications, and Healthcare Industries.
 
Terri has 1 husband, 1 daughter, 3 sons and 3 grandsons. She is an active member of Church of the Highlands where she serves on the Marriage & Family Team, as a Coach of the Prayer Team, and a Small Group Leader. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, shopping, watching movies, meeting new people and experiencing new things.
