The AI-Ready Business Analyst: Translating Business Needs into Responsible AI

Organizations across every industry are racing to adopt artificial intelligence, yet many AI initiatives stall because the business problem was never clearly defined. This session will explore why the business analyst is uniquely positioned to close that gap. Drawing on experience leading AI product development at a Fortune 20 health company and shaping AI governance within an academic medical center, JaMor Hairston will show how core BA skills apply directly to AI work: requirements elicitation, stakeholder alignment, data understanding, and risk assessment. Attendees will leave with a practical view of where they fit in the AI lifecycle and how to lead with confidence in it.
